I have always had a passion for painting, starting from an early age when I won my first art award in a Los Angeles county fair in 1953. Since then, I have continued to pursue my love for art, winning awards in high school in Kentucky and working in various reproduction studios in California under different artist pen names. In 2017, I took up painting after a needed hiatus with renewed vigor, and my work has been inspired by the beauty of Monterey Bay, the volcanic eruptions of Hawaii, western saloons, and landscapes in California and Italy.
